Associate in Arts in History for Transfer (AA-T) Το Associate in Arts for Transfer in History (AA-T in History) παρέχει στους μαθητές την ευκαιρία να καλλιεργήσουν μια ευρεία προοπτική για την ιστορία. Το πρόγραμμα έχει σχεδιαστεί για να τονώσει την εκτίμηση και την κατανόηση των ιστορικών και πολιτιστικών τάσεων, καθώς και τη γνώση βασικών προσώπων και γεγονότων.
Το πρόγραμμα έχει επίσης σχεδιαστεί για να διευκολύνει τη μάθηση με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε να επιτρέπει στους μαθητές να κάνουν συνδέσεις με σύγχρονα ιδρύματα και ιδέες, πρότυπα αλλαγής και προόδου και να ενθαρρύνουν το ενδιαφέρον για τον κόσμο του 21ου αιώνα.
Οι μαθητές θα βελτιώσουν επίσης τις γνωστικές και αναλυτικές τους ικανότητες μελετώντας ιστορικά έργα, ερευνώντας ιστορικά θέματα και γράφοντας χρησιμοποιώντας πρωτογενείς και δευτερεύουσες πηγές.
Οι δεξιότητες κριτικής σκέψης και η ιστορική κατανόηση μέσω αυτών των μαθημάτων παρέχουν ένα πλαίσιο για δια βίου μελέτη στους τομείς της ιστορίας και των ανθρωπιστικών επιστημών και προσφέρουν στους φοιτητές ένα εύρος γνώσεων που θα μπορούσαν να επικεντρωθούν σε πτυχία μεμονωμένου κλάδου καθώς και να εφαρμοστούν σε διεπιστημονικό πτυχίο.
Το AA-T in History έχει σχεδιαστεί για να παρέχει ένα σαφές Pathway σε ένα ίδρυμα CSU για φοιτητές που σχεδιάζουν να μεταφέρουν και να ολοκληρώσουν ένα πτυχίο CSU ή πτυχίο Ιστορίας.
Οι φοιτητές του Κοινοτικού Κολλεγίου της Καλιφόρνια στους οποίους απονέμεται ένα AA-T στην Ιστορία έχουν εγγυημένη είσοδο με κατώτερη θέση στο σύστημα CSU και δίνεται προτεραιότητα στην εισαγωγή στο τοπικό τους ίδρυμα CSU ή σε ένα πρόγραμμα που θεωρείται παρόμοιο με το μάθημα του κοινοτικού κολεγίου τους.
Αυτή η προτεραιότητα δεν εγγυάται την είσοδο σε συγκεκριμένες ειδικότητες ή ιδρύματα.
Τι είναι ένα AA-T;
Το Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) προορίζεται για φοιτητές που σχεδιάζουν να μεταφερθούν και να ολοκληρώσουν πτυχίο πανεπιστημίου σε παρόμοια κατεύθυνση σε μια πανεπιστημιούπολη CSU. Φοιτητές που ολοκληρώνουν αυτά τα πτυχία μετεγγραφής:
- θα κερδίσει πτυχίο συνεργάτη από Mission College ;
- έχουν εγγυημένη είσοδο σε παρόμοια κύρια σε μια πανεπιστημιούπολη στο σύστημα CSU·
- θα είναι έτοιμοι να ξεκινήσουν μαθήματα ανώτερου τμήματος στο CSU.
- και δεν θα χρειαστεί να ολοκληρώσει περισσότερες από 60 μονάδες μετά τη μεταφορά.

- Οι μαθητές θα αναλύσουν σημαντικά ιστορικά γεγονότα είτε προφορικά είτε γραπτά.
- Οι μαθητές θα ορίσουν και θα είναι σε θέση να συγκρίνουν και να αντιπαραβάλουν βασικά ιστορικά ζητήματα και πολιτιστικές παραδοχές.
- Οι μαθητές θα περιγράψουν την αξία και τα θετικά χαρακτηριστικά διαφορετικών πολιτισμών και κοινωνιών.
To earn this degree, students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of the following major courses with grades of C or P or better.
- Completion of 60 CSU-transferable semester units with a grade point average of at least 2.0; and
- Certified completion of either the California State University General Education Breadth pattern (CSU GE-B) or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC).

NEW Progress Pride Scholarship!
For the first time, the Mensa Foundation seeks to award our Progress Pride Scholarship: up to two $10,000 scholarships. POINT Foundation Scholarship
